A Honda CRV occupied by a family of four, two adults and two children, spun out and struck the concrete barrier during the crash with a 2022 Mercedes Benz operated by a 33-year-old woman, Rutherford Police Lt. Craig Capoano said.
The crash happened just before 8:30 a.m. in the local westbound lanes right at the Clifton border.
The child suffered a minor injury and the parents told police they'd take their child to their own doctor or local hospital for medical care. The lane was briefly closed for safety and tow removal.
